What is CBD Oil?
Cannabidiol Oil (CBD Oil) is a natural food supplement used for many common ailments. It is derived from the marijuana and hemp plant. Cannabidiols have recently been made legal in the UK, and some advocates suggest that they can provide a variety of health benefits for various conditions.
CBD Oil is available without a prescription. You do not need a prescription from us or a GP in order to buy it for any purpose.

How it works
CBD Oil is derived from the marijuana or cannabis plants. The main active ingredient in CBD oil is cannabidiol. The limited research that has been carried out suggests that CBD oil can have numerous positive health benefits for a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety and pain.
Cannabidiol does not have any psychoactive effects on the brain, so it will not cause intoxication.
Before you take it
Do not take CBD oil if you are allergic to cannabis or cannabidiol.
CBD oil should not cause addiction. Cannabidiol does not display signs of addiction in the same way as opioids, alcohol or illicit drugs. However, you should always follow the recommended dose, and if you notice signs of addiction, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
CBD oil may interact with your ability to concentrate. For this reason, you should avoid driving or operating machinery before you are fully aware of how this product affects you.
CBD Oil may interact with certain other medications. You should speak with your doctor before using CBD oil if you are taking any of the following:
- Benzodiazepines such as diazepam
- HIV Antivirals such as ritonavir or efavirenz
- NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or naproxen
- Antihistamines such as loratadine or chlorpheniramine

You should take CBD Oil exactly as described in the instructions on the packet. Never exceed the stated dose.
A suggested use is ½ dropper under the tongue twice per day. You should keep the oil in your mouth for as long as possible, as swallowing the oil may impact the absorption of the oil.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not substitute a varied diet for CBD oil.

Common Side Effects of CBD Oil
Taking CBD Oil may cause side effects. Generally, it is well tolerated and considered safe, but it may cause adverse reactions in some people. These may include:
- Changes in appetite
- Dry mouth
Cannabidiol, the active ingredient in CBD Oil, may cause an allergic reaction. This is extremely rare, but any allergic reaction is an emergency. If you believe you are experiencing one, you should immediately seek medical help. Symptoms may include:
- Swelling of the mouth, lips, tongue or throat
- Hives or nettle rash
- Difficulty breathing or speaking
- Skin rash - swelling, itching, blistering or peeling
Can CBD Oil be taken by children?
CBD Oil should not generally be taken by anyone under the age of 18. We do not supply any product to anyone under the age of 18.
Can I get “high” from CBD Oil?
No. CBD Oil does not contain THC, which is the active ingredient in cannabis that causes you to become intoxicated or “high.”

It is not known whether CBD oil will cause harm to an unborn baby. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
What happens if I take too much?
Cannabidiols are known to be non-toxic, with no fatal overdoses reported as yet. However, if you believe you have taken too much, you should go to your doctor to seek advice.
