What are CBD Capsules?
CBD (Cannabidiol) Capsules are a non-psychoactive supplement, used to aid a variety of health ailments.
CBD Capsules belong to a group of supplements called cannabinoids. A cannabinoid is an extract from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant.
Cannabinoid products are legal and considered safe to use in the United Kingdom.
CBD Capsules are considered a natural herbal remedy and can be bought from our pharmacy. You do not need a prescription to buy CBD capsules.
The use of CBD may aid digestion and help improve well-being. It may also help with pain management and cognition, however, we only sell CBD Capsules as a nutritional supplement.
How it works
CBD Capsules do not contain the same psychoactive properties as THC, and do not produce a “high” or intoxication.
The use of CBD Capsules is becoming increasingly popular and has been reported to improve symptoms of pain, anxiety, and depression.
There is no exact measurement of the effectiveness of this product. The effects of CBD Capsules may differ from person to person.
Each capsule contains 10mg of the active ingredient Cannabidiol.
Before you take it
Do not take CBD Capsules if you are allergic to cannabis (also known as marijuana and hemp), cannabidiols or similar ingredients in nutritional supplements or CBD products.
The effects of CBD in people with kidney and liver impairments are unknown. It is advised that you consult your doctor before taking this supplement.
If you are pregnant, do not take CBD Capsules unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this supplement. CBD may be passed into breast milk, and the effects of CBD are unknown in nursing babies. Consult your doctor, who will decide if CBD is suitable for you to take while breastfeeding.

This supplement may affect cognition and may potentially cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you experience this side effect.
CBD Capsules may be unsuitable for some people. Speak with your doctor before using CBD Capsules if you are taking any of the following:
- HIV Antivirals (such as ritonavir or efavirenz)
- NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen or naproxen)
- Benzodiazepines (such as diazepam)
- Antihistamines (such as loratadine or chlorpheniramine)

For use as a nutritional supplement: one to two capsules, twice daily.
CBD Capsules should be swallowed whole with plenty of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose. This supplement should be taken as indicated on the packaging.
CBD Capsules can be taken with or without food.
Store CBD Capsules in a cool, dry place. This supplement must be kept out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date.
Common Side Effects of CBD Capsules
Although not everybody will get them, some side effects have been reported when using CBD Capsules.
Possible but less serious side effects of CBD Capsules are:
- Dry mouth
- Changes in mood
- Changes in appetite
CBD may cause a severe allergic reaction. This is extremely rare, but an allergic reaction is an emergency and if you believe you are experiencing one, you should seek immediate medical help. Symptoms include:
- Swelling or tightness in the chest or throat
- Difficulty in breathing or sudden wheezing
- Swelling of the mouth, lips, throat, tongue or face
- A skin rash similar to hives or nettle rash
Are CBD capsules suitable for Children?
While CBD Capsules can be used at any age, there is limited research on its use in children. We do not recommend the use of CBD capsules in children without consulting a doctor first.

Can I get “high” from CBD Capsules?
It is not possible to get high from CBD Capsules. They do not contain the same psychoactive ingredient (THC) as recreational marijuana or cannabis.
I’m pregnant. Can I use CBD Capsules?
Do not take CBD Capsules without medical advice if you are pregnant or if you suspect you may be pregnant.
Can I use CBD Capsules while breastfeeding?
If you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using CBD Capsules. CBD may pass into breast milk.
What happens if I take too much?
Always use this supplement as instructed. If you have accidentally taken more than intended and you are concerned, please contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice. You may experience increased side effects.
